Settings
Settings page contains individual information about user. It is stored locally, only in the mobile phone and is not passed to any 3rd party.
Tapping on one of the settings elements the user can change it.
- Element Name is the name the application will use to address you. Does not necessary to have it as a personal name.
It can be "Sir”, or “My dear” – as user wants.
- Element Phone number is recommended to fill. This number will be automatically shown in the first page of Sign In.
- eMail Address is optional.
- Year of Birth, Height, meters and Weight, kg are required for calculation of recommended number of calories and macronutrients.
- Gender is required because equations are different for men and women.
- Activity: user should select one of activities shown in the popup list.
Please note that workout is defined as 15-30 mins elevated heart rate.
Intense workout consists of 45+ mins elevated heart rate.
- New Weight Goal can be less or higher than current weight of the person, depending on he wishes to lose or gain the weight
- Weekly Goal : the user can either maintain his current weight, or to set how many kilograms he plans to lose (or gain) during each week.
Please note that user can change his settings at any time.
Additional settings are:
- Speech Rate – user can set the rate of the application speech: left position of the slider is slow, right- fast.
- Reminder: the app can reminder user to register his meals after certain period of time
- Verbose: the app can be either silent or speak breifly to the user, or speak in detailed way.
